Spheric Storm involved the complete transformation of a Manhattan gallery into a unique theatre. Accessible 24 hours a day, an aperture on the street invited viewers to look in, where an epic four minute cycle began and ended in complete darkness.
The drama slowly developed from a black void to a dramatic crescendo, in the form of a fully animated storm. The dominant metaphor was the cycle, referring to both genesis and death, to our own mortality, to all cycles.
